LOCALITY

Appealing to nature lovers, walkers and horse riders, we consider this location to be the perfect place to live the dream. To the West you have beautiful beaches and the East the magnificent mountains.

Situated in a most pleasant rural location set back off a “C” class road only 1 mile from the sea. Cei Bach is know locally as “Millionaires Road”! A very peaceful village which leads down to Cei Bach beach. This is a beautiful sheltered sandy beach with safe bathing and is also dog and horse friendly all year round. Quite often you can walk here and have the whole beach to yourself.

Adjacent to the beach you will find Cei Bach Country Club which serves a variety of home cooked meals available daily and open all year round.

New Quay, 2.5 miles away is a small picturesque popular seaside destination famous for its family of Bottlenose Dolphins. New Quay has the enjoyment of four beaches all within 1 mile. There are ample cafes and restaurants. Fish & chips , Indian and Chinese take-a-way’s, public houses with gardens for the children. The harbour offers good launching facilities for small craft, deep water moorings for visiting boats are also available.

Aberaeron, 4 miles away, was once a busy little harbour town. Now famous for its Georgian architecture and picturesque harbour, it is now a popular tourist destination. There is a variety of small shops selling local produce and a craft centre. There is also a good selection of cafes, restaurants, take-a-way's and public houses serving meals, The harbour today has good launching and mooring facilities for small craft and visiting boats. Aberaeron also has various schooling facilities.

For those with equestrian interests riding is permitted all year round on the local beach at Cei Bach, 1 mile from Hafod. Local bridleways are within a short distance and unlimited outriding is just a short box ride away to the mountains or extensive forestry rides - the choice is yours! There are also local riding clubs within easy reach and the Tivyside Hunt meet just a few miles away.

The appeal of Hafod is its location, close enough to the buzz of New Quay and Aberaeron yet far enough away from the busyness of the local holiday parks.
